Phosphene

Phosphene: A ring or spot of light produced by pressure on the eyeball or direct stimulation of the visual system other than by light. The creation of this film took the combined efforts of myself, Madison Newton, and Paige Harberts to bring to fruition. To give a rough idea of the creative for this- we were given a random soundscape to develop an animation for. We came up with the idea to utilize long-exposure photography so we could capture the lovely streaks and flashes of various sources of moving lights. I created a storyboard for the rough sequence of what I visualized when hearing the sounds and we came together to animate our collected assets in Adobe After Effects.
